Essential oils are oily substances which are not soluble in water, with a complex and rather variable composition, which comes from natural products through extraction (with solvents), through distillation (in steam current), through squeezing (cold squeezing). The essential oils, besides being to the base of the manufacture of natural aromas, are being used for a long time in the alternative medicine (homeopathy – aromatherapy)
